Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the website at grock.ae (the "Website"). The Website is operated by Grock, a free zone limited liability company registered in Dubai Internet City, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under trade licence No. 106907, which trades as GRock. In these Terms, "GRock", "we", "us" and "our" mean Grock. By accessing or using the Website you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Website.

GRock provides management consultancy services under trade licence No. 106907 issued by the Dubai Development Authority. The Website describes those services and how to reach us about them.

Where a matter falls outside the scope of the services we provide, we will tell you and, where appropriate, introduce you to an independently licensed provider. Any such provider is engaged by you directly and is responsible for its own advice.

Website content provides general information about our services. It is not advice, an opinion, or a substitute for advice on your specific circumstances. Laws and regulatory practice in the United Arab Emirates change, and the application of any rule depends on the facts of the individual case. Obtain appropriate professional advice before acting, or refraining from acting, in reliance on anything published here.

Submitting an enquiry, downloading material, or corresponding with us by email, telephone or messaging does not by itself create a client, advisory, fiduciary or other professional relationship, and does not oblige us to accept an engagement.

An engagement begins only once we have completed our internal acceptance checks and the relevant parties have signed a written services agreement. Until then, you should not assume that any communication through the Website carries confidentiality protection beyond what is described in clause 5 and in Part B.

5.1 We apply reasonable confidentiality and security measures to information we receive through the Website, and we limit internal access to it.

5.2 We may use limited information from an enquiry to carry out our internal acceptance checks, including checking whether we already act for a party with a competing interest.

5.3 We may be unable to treat information as confidential to you where disclosure is required by the applicable law of the United Arab Emirates, by an order or lawful request of a court, prosecutor or law enforcement authority, or by a request from the Dubai Development Authority or another competent authority. Where we are permitted to tell you that such a disclosure has been made, we will.

5.4 Please do not submit passports, Emirates ID cards, banking records, or other highly sensitive material through a general Website form. Where such material is genuinely needed, we will identify a secure channel for it first.

You must not misuse the Website. In particular you must not attempt unauthorised access to it or to any system connected to it, introduce malicious code, interfere with its availability, scrape or harvest content at scale, impersonate another person, submit unlawful material, or use the Website in a way that infringes the rights of any other person.

We may restrict or withdraw access where reasonably necessary to protect the Website, its users, or our legal rights. Conduct of the kind described above may also be an offence under Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Countering Rumours and Cybercrimes.

Unless stated otherwise, the content, design, graphics, logos, layout and other materials on the Website are owned by or licensed to GRock. You may view, download and print reasonable extracts for your own non-commercial reference. Any other reproduction, publication, modification, distribution or commercial use requires our prior written consent, except where applicable law permits otherwise.

The Website may contain links, embedded content or integrations provided by third parties. We do not control those resources and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, terms or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own discretion and may be governed by separate terms.

We aim to keep the Website available and its content current, but we may update, suspend, restrict or withdraw any part of it without notice. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free access, and we may correct errors and update information at any time.

10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by the applicable law of the United Arab Emirates, GRock is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business opportunity, goodwill or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Website, or from reliance on its general content.

10.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of mandatory obligations under data protection law, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Our handling of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy in Part B and the Cookie Policy in Part C. Those policies are incorporated into these Terms for information, and nothing in these Terms reduces any right granted to you by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page applies to your use of the Website, and the date of the most recent update is shown above.

These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, together with the regulations of the Dubai Development Authority applicable to us as a licensee. Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or dispute resolution requirement, the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from use of the Website.
